These flavorful patties make a unique appetizer or side dish.

1 sweet potato
1 can of black beans
1 cup of cooked quinoa
1 tbs cilantro, chopped
1 tbs onion, chopped
1 garlic clove
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chipotle paste


  1. Cook quinoa according to directions on the package.
  2. While your quinoa is cooking, sauté the onion and garlic in a pan with coconut oil, mash your beans and sweet potato.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  4. Combine all your ingredients and mix well.
  5. Form the mixture into patties, you can make them as small or big as you prefer.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping them over after 10 minutes.
