Seasonings can often be packed with way too much salt, chemicals, and anti-caking agents. But making your own mixtures is so easy and has much more flavor than the ones you buy at the store.

Homemade Taco Seasoning

2 TBSP chili powder
1.5 tsp cumin
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp onion powder
1.4 tsp garlic powder

Mix all your spices together and store in an airtight container. Use 2 to 3 tablespoons to a pound of cooked meat of your choice (or meat substitute!) to get a yummy taco-flavored meal.
